EE Times Announces Finalists for Annual EE Times Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards

CMP Media's EE Times today announced that 77 finalists have been selected for the inaugural EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards to be held at the Embedded Systems Conference on March 9, 2005, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. This landmark gala event will honor the people, companies and products that demonstrate leadership in the electronics industry.
A prestigious panel of judges -- made up of industry visionaries, leading technologists, educators and Wall Street executives -- selected the finalists from a total of more than 340 entries in seven categories. One winner from each category will be announced at the awards ceremony, in addition to winners in seven categories for Ultimate Products of the Year.

This award celebrates the company that exhibits the highest degree of professionalism in staff development and retention, customer focus, technical excellence and profitable growth -- a true leader in the electronics sector (over $1 billion in sales).

The Ultimate Products of the Year award goes to the most significant product introduced in the last twelve months in each of seven categories as determined by a large-scale peer review. Quarterly voting was from a list of ten nominees submitted to readers by expert editors with accompanying editorial reviews. Products were rated by "technical significance" and "likelihood of use."
