EE Times Group Appoints Amandeep Sandhu Manager of Audience Acquisition and Engagement

EE Times Group [formerly TechInsights], a division of United Business Media [LON: UBM], today announced that Amandeep Sandhu has joined the company as Manager of Audience Acquisition and Engagement. In this newly created position, Sandhu will be responsible for the global audience engagement strategy for the media properties, which includes EE Times, Embedded and TechOnline as well ESC global events. Sandhu will be based in EE Times Group headquarters in San Francisco, CA and will report to Paul Miller, CEO.

Sandhu started his career as a Senior Software Developer with Cadence Design Systems Inc., where he worked on the development of the next generation PCB Design Entry tool, developing algorithms and GUI's, and developed an intelligent Language Sensitive Editor (LSE), which was used to edit design files written in Verilog or VHDL.. Most recently Sandhu was a Project Throughput Manager in Semiconductor Insights' Engineering Group, where he collaborated with the senior management team to develop strategic plans regarding many facets of the business.
Sandhu received a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science and Engineering) from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. He also attended the University of Ottawa, Canada while working with the Semiconductor Insights division where he obtained his Master's in Business Administration degree in January of 2009.
As well, EE Times Group further adds to its Audience Engagement team with the addition of two Email Marketing & Creative Specialists. Core to the audience engagement strategy is to deliver innovative programs and services for achieving business goals while meeting the needs and expectations of end recipients. Laura Robison and Nicholas Walter will focus on optimizing email campaigns in a highly relevant, personalized manner with the engineering community to create a more effective, one-to-one communications approach and deliver industry leading results for products and programs that enhance our lead generation capabilities.
