All Analytics Hosts Live Webinar on the 'Analytics Mandate'
May 28, 2014
NEW YORK, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In a live, free webinar on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. ET, authors of MIT Sloan Management Review's new research report, "The Analytics Mandate," will share the findings and insights from their research into analytics practices.
Among the key findings from the study, conducted in collaboration with business analytics leader SAS, is that an analytics culture is the driving factor in achieving competitive advantage from data and analytics. As such, analytics culture is more important than skills or data management in achieving analytics success.
In Thursday's webinar, MIT Sloan Management Review Editor in Chief David Kiron and SAS Chief Research Officer Pamela Kirk Prentice will discuss the components of an analytics culture, and give guidance on how to make those important culture changes in your organization.
"The findings from this study very much align with what we hear from analytics executives as we discuss strategic initiatives with them. Most understand the need to develop an analytics culture, yet often have difficulty doing so. This webinar will provide critical guidance," says Beth Schultz, Editor in Chief of All Analytics.
Attendees will learn about the behaviors, values, and decision-making norms that make up an analytics culture, and come away with five questions they can ask to begin their companies' cultural transformations. In addition, they'll get a glimpse into the other report findings, including the results on how the analytical landscape is changing as more and more companies become sophisticated users of data.
