This year's distinguished keynote lineup includes:
Michael Rosen: CTO, Wilton Consulting Group will present a keynote address on Monday, July 21 at 5:30 PM entitled "Learning the Secret Handshake -- 10 Things an Architect Does." This keynote will provide the audience with 10 responsibilities of an architect and the skills needed to accomplish them. The responsibilities includes: inquire, integrate, analyze, conceptualize, abstract, visualize, formalize, communicate, enable and assist.
Scott Ambler: Practice Leader Agile Development, IBM and Terry Quatrani: UML Evangelist, IBM will present a keynote address on Tuesday, July 22 at 12:15 PM entitled "Modeling Strategies, Philosophies, and Techniques: Traditional vs. Agile." Ambler and Quatrani will explore the issues and risks surrounding modeling and documentation on IT projects, juxtaposing the traditional and agile lines of thought around this critical topic.
Hugh Thompson: Ph.D., Chief Security Strategist, People Security will present a keynote address on Thursday, July 24 at 12:15 PM entitled "Hackernomics." Legislation, financially driven attackers, and high profile breaches, have changed the economics of security. "Hackernomics" is the social science concerned with description and analysis of attacker motivations, economics and business risk within this new attacker economy. Thompson will vividly illustrate the laws of hackernomics and look at how to think like an attacker.
"There's been tremendous growth in architecture in the last couple of years. Architecture & Design World brings together some of the best minds at the forefront of software development, to share their knowledge, experience, and insight," said Conference Manager Amber Ankerholz. "Presenters and attendees are all engaged in a process of continuous redefinition, while returning attendees seek inspiration and rejuvenation through discussion of new innovative approaches to developing software more effectively."
