In keeping with its 17- year history, the Software Development Conference & Expo (SD West 2004) is again assembling some of the hottest companies in software development at the Santa Clara Convention Center March 16-18th. Led by IBM, Intel, HP and Apple, the event's show floor will be filled with leading technology vendors displaying their latest tools, technologies and software applications.

"Companies continue to choose to exhibit and unveil new products and services at SD West because with its unique conference curriculum it is the leading event for the high profile, hard-to-reach software development leader," said Stan Barnes, the SD Group Director.

Exhibitors presenting new products at SD West 2004 include the following:
-- Catalyst will be unveiling the new Openmake 6.3. It moves build
management a huge step forward by giving developers the power to craft
a completely customized build for any platform without having to write
     a single script.
-- Electric Cloud will be showcasing how its distributed build technology
uses clusters of inexpensive servers to run builds in parallel. It
performs on-the-fly dependency analysis to allow maximum parallelism
     while still producing correct builds.
-- Encryptolock will display its anti-piracy product that combines an
installer with a flexible, low-cost encryption solution. It also
protects files, web pages, sand treams -- either online or as CDs/DVDs.
-- Through the Mobilized Software Initiative, Intel Corporation and other
leading technology companies are working together to provide a
comprehensive set of software tools, services, architecture
specifications and training programs to help design software for
mobility. Intel and its partners will be presenting the facts on
developing enhanced mobile solutions and the results through process
     automation and a more-mobile workforce.
-- McCabe & Associates will present TRUEchange 3.0, an all new Java client
that is a common multi-platform GUI with detailed data representation,
versatile user control flows, client-side conflict resolution and more,

     TRUEchange 3.0's superior SCM functionality.
-- Osellus will introduce IRIS, the first open standards-based software
development process automation system. The product is methodology,
process and technology neutral. It can be used to model, enact and
monitor end-to-end software development processes. IRIS interfaces to
the existing development tools to form a common management layer across
     the full development life-cycle.
-- Perforce will be showcasing 2003.2. It provides version control,
workspace management and a powerful branching model to manage source
code, documents and Web content on over 50 platforms. Geared for high
performance, it works the way developers work and is easy to
administer, from initial deployment to large-scale productivity.
-- RIQTek announces the release of RIQTek Manager version 4.5u. This
release incorporates at a glance reporting and software tasks lifecycle
concept into personalized Web pages to provide users with different

     Apache, Axis and Spring.

project-tracking tool for software development teams. DevTrack tracks
and manages defects, change requests, feature enhancements, and all
other development issues. DevTrack provides workflow and process
automation features, detailed searching and reporting, all configured
