SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today UBM TechWeb announced the program lineup for InformationWeek Valley View, a live streamed, monthly web video show hosted by InformationWeek Editorial Director Fritz Nelson and UBM TechWeb Chief Content Officer David Berlind.  The event will take place at UBM TechWeb San Francisco headquarters January 25, 2012 at 4 pm PST with a studio audience, as well as streamed live online at http://www.informationweek.com/news/specialreport/valleyview.

InformationWeek Valley View captures the spirit of technology innovation around Silicon Valley, giving live and web audiences insight into of the hottest tech companies. In this month's show, hosts Fritz Nelson and David Berlind will interview Sanjay Poonen, President of SAP Global Solutions on the company's moves in the cloud, about big data, and about mobile and the competitive landscape.

Valley View will also feature companies demonstrating brand new technologies, and this month introduces National Field, a private social network for the enterprise. National Field began its life with the Obama 2008 campaign, and is headed by Edward Saatchi. Valley View will talk about the company's campaign plans for 2012 while demoing the product live, streamed and in front of Valley View's live studio audience.

Mobile device management (MDM) will be the topic Valley View spotlights, as IT gets "consumerized," thanks to the influx of smart phones and tablets and other devices. Many MDM companies have emerged recently, and each offers a unique approach to the challenge. Valley View hosts will debate between a couple of the leading MDM players.

"Our first Valley View was a great success and a lot of fun," said Fritz Nelson, Editorial Director, InformationWeek. "Our lively format, studio audience and online viewers create a powerful energy for a program like Valley View to peer into the hottest companies, newest technologies and headline news of today."

Valley View will feature a cocktail reception and opportunity to network with editors and media, and contests and gift giveaway for registered online viewers. For those interested in joining for cocktails and being part of the live in-studio audience, please RSVP to Esther Rodriguez at iwkmarketing@techweb.com.
