"Organizations are pushing for predictive insight, not just reporting on past performance, and that presents both a challenge and an opportunity," says Doug Henschen, executive editor of InformationWeek. "The challenge is taking advantage of a growing volume and variety of information while supporting faster decision-making. With the right people in place, skilled in the latest information-management and data-analysis techniques, businesses can seize market openings, avoid risks, or please customers before competitors recognize the opportunity."
