The virtual event was created to educate designers on the advances in LED lighting technologies.

The symposium is targeted to students, academia professionals and hobbyists, experienced design engineers and procurement specialists.

The keynote "Next Generation Lighting: HB LED Market Review" will be presented by Vrinda Bhandarkar, Senior Market Research Analyst, Strategies Unlimited. The presentation will review the trends in the HB LED industry over the past ten years and market developments in 2009 for HB LED applications including lighting as well as the five year market forecast for the different application areas will be presented.
