Wallace to Combine EE Times and TechOnline Global Content

TechInsights today announced that Richard Wallace, Vice President/Editor-in-Chief of TechInsights has been charged to lead the combined global content teams at EE Times and TechOnline. In this new position, he will be responsible for driving TechInsights' new content strategy, and combining the world's largest and best electronics market editorial and content teams into a cohesive, focused unit delivering news and technical information to global audiences through print, events and digital media. Junko Yoshida, Editor-in-Chief of EE Times; Patrick Mannion, Editorial Director of TechOnline; Richard Nass, Editorial Director of Embedded Systems print and online operations; and Peter Clarke, EE Times Europe News Director will report to Wallace.
Wallace is a former EE Times Editor-in-Chief with more than 30 years of print, online and global editorial development, management and media business experience. "At TechInsights we reach and influence engineers and business leaders around the globe," said Wallace. "The role of b2b media in the 21st century is not just to inform and educate audiences, but to build a social and commercial hub with tools that enables audience members to strengthen peer-to-peer and community professional relationships to advance business objectives. Previously, Wallace was leading international business development at TechInsights and was focused on strengthening the TechInsights' global footprint. He recently completed the successful launch of EE Times Europe. "Richard led EE Times from its initial growth to dominance in the electronics media market and he has the vision and experience to guide both the EE Times and TechOnline teams to even greater prominence around the world," said David Blaza, Vice President and Publisher of EE Times.
