EETimes Group Expands Digital Media Technology and Development Resources

EETimes Group, the daily source of essential business and technical information for the electronics industry's decision makers, today announced the expansion of its Digital Media Development team by key positions designed to support recent and ongoing innovations to its digital assets. Additionally, Brent Pearson, having recently joined the group as Director of Media Technology, has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Information Officer [CIO] and will be leading the team.

The newly added resources join software engineers Joseph Wong and Ying Zhang to create a best-in-class digital media technology and development team. The additions include:

  --  Mike Lipinski, Web Application Developer
  --  Mateusz Sawka, Web Application Developer
  --  William Ziebel, Software Architect

  --  Patty Leo, Information Architect

Pearson, now in the role of CIO, was brought on board last spring to recruit and lead a software engineering team to execute a technology roadmap for EETimes Group's media business represented by the EETimes Network of online properties - notably, EE Times, TechOnline, Embedded, and the DesignLines.

Mr. Pearson brings twelve years of software engineering and web development expertise and management skills to TechInsights. Most recently, Mr. Pearson was Director, Technology for Carat, a full service digital media company that provides technology consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies. Previous to this, Mr. Pearson was the Director of Development for TradePoint Solutions, software as a service provider in the consumer packaged goods industry. As well, Mr. Pearson cofounded his own company, Lawdex, focused on creating and sharing legal documentation and communication electronically.
