TechInsights Invests in Digital Media Technology and Development Resources

Software engineering team to be led by technology veteran Brent Pearson

TechInsights, the daily source of essential business and technical information for the electronics industry's decision makers, today announced the creation of a Digital Media Development team led by Brent Pearson. Mr. Pearson's first step is to craft a technology roadmap for TechInsights' media business represented by the EE Times Network of online properties - notably, EE Times, TechOnline, Embedded, and the DesignLines. As well, Mr. Pearson is responsible to recruit and lead a software engineering team to execute upon this plan. "Our decision to bring Brent on board and invest heavily in web technology and resources for our media business, provides further evidence of TechInsights stated intent and continued evolution towards an online centric media play," stated Paul Miller, CEO of TechInsights. Mr. Pearson brings twelve years of software engineering and web development expertise and management skills to TechInsights. Most recently, Mr. Pearson was Director, Technology for Carat, a full service digital media company that provides technology consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies. Previous to this, Mr. Pearson was the Director of Development for TradePoint Solutions, a software as a service provider in the consumer packaged goods industry. As well, Mr. Pearson cofounded his own company, Lawdex, focused on creating and sharing legal documentation and communication electronically.
