UBM Electronics Adds James Corcoran as Vice President of Sales
New Sales Leader Brings 20 Years of Experience to Growing Company

SAN FRANCISCO, May 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Electronics, a UBM company and the daily source of essential business and technical information for the electronics industry's decision makers, today announced that James Corcoran has been named Vice President of Sales. In this newly created role, Corcoran will provide strategic leadership to the sales team and facilitate new business in an effort to increase revenue by driving sales.

Corcoran has 20 years of sales and leadership experience in the financial, media sectors and sales development industries. Previously, Corcoran was a Client Executive of Huthwaite, the world's leading sales performance improvement organization, where he worked intimately with Fortune 500 clients to develop effective business development strategies. Prior, Corcoran was the Director of Business Development of Cyber Financial Network, where he was responsible for the day-to-day sales operations and led the company to a growth of over 400 percent. Earlier, Corcoran was the Managing Director of The Concord Equity Group and managed his division of an east coast based brokerage firm for over five years with triple digit sales growth. Corcoran began his career as an Assistant Branch Manager at J. Gregory & Co.
Corcoran will be based in UBM Electronics' Manhasset, New York office and will report to Blaza.
