SAN FRANCISCO and ALPHARETTA, Ga., July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Electronics, a UBM company and the daily source of essential business and technical information for the electronics industry's decision makers, and the Electronics Components Industry Association (ECIA) today announced the call for entries for the inaugural Electronics Choice Industry Awards (ECIA's). The ECIA awards celebrate excellence in marketing by honoring ECIA members who have displayed exceptional branding and marketing programs in the past year.

All entries will be reviewed by the judging panel which will consist of David Blaza, VP, UBM Electronics; Karen Field, SVP, Content, UBM Electronics; Brian Fuller, Editorial Director, EE Times' EE Life community, UBM Electronics; Robin B. Gray, Jr., Electronic Components Industry Association; Kirby Strickland, Phase Two Consulting/Creative/Media Management; and Michael McClellan, Plexus Marketing Group, Inc.
