Targeted to senior executives from semiconductor companies, microelectronics companies, semiconductor equipment and materials firms, electronics equipment and systems manufacturers, start up organizations, government and industry officials and investment organizations, the theme of the International Electronics Forum will be "New Rules For Old...Achieving Success In The Age of Nano Tech."   The forum covers the key issues affecting the electronics industry including advanced research, equipment and materials, IP and EDA, government and finance plus semiconductor and OEM system design and production.  

Blaza's session will explore the old rules in the electronics industry and the factors influencing change such as the industry moves to mobile, consolidations and more.  Blaza will discuss the new rules, software and services, how they impact customers and what electronics companies can do in order to use them to their advantage.  Additionally, he'll look at ecosystems, new business models and what electronics vendors need now.

Blaza has over 20 years of sales, marketing and media experience in the technology sector with IBM Europe, Motorola, Mars Electronics, ChipCenter and UBM.  Blaza built his early career selling new technology into emerging applications including selling one of the first voice mail systems installed in the UK and private wireless data systems in the US.  In addition, Blaza sold some of the earliest versions of internet ads on EETimes.com and led the CMP Electronics Group web sales initiatives. Blaza has held a variety of management positions with UBM Electronics including Publisher of Embedded Systems Design magazine, Vice President and Publisher of EE Times.   Blaza earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science from the University of Bradford, England and a Master of Science in Economics and Technology from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
