SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Tech's EE Times and EDN today announced the call for nominations for the 2013 ACE Awards competition http://ubm-ace.com/ has been extended through February 13, 2013. The awards program honors the people and technologies that have made a difference in the electronics industry.
The ACE Awards feature several returning categories plus seven new categories that recognize the changing landscape of the engineering industry. The 2013 award categories include:

The ACE Awards will be judged by a panel of EE Times and EDN editors as well as a panel of independent judges from across the electronics industry.
ACE award winners will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Sainte Claire Hotel San Jose, CA during Design West and ESC Silicon Valley.
