Raj Kapoor, Senior Director, Customer Insights, UBM Tech to Speak at ExpoNext 2014 on the Attendee Experience

SAN FRANCISCO, June 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Tech today announced Raj Kapoor, Senior Director, Customer Insights, will speak at ExpoNext 2014, a conference for show producers in the for-profit, association, medical and consumer sectors, in Baltimore, MD.
On Friday, June 27 at 10:05 a.m., Kapoor will participate on the panel "Attendee Tracking: A Show from the Customer's Perspective." The panelists will discuss how attendee tracking can show how the customer experiences a show through the marketing funnel, from the initial touch through the conclusion of the event and plans for the next. They will showcase how to build an attendee persona and map the attendee's experience. Other panelists include: Mike Allic, VP, Strategy, Advanstar and Liz Irving, Group Marketing Director, Reed Expo.
Kapoor is leading UBM Tech's marketing transformation toward a data-centric approach. He is moving the company towards actionable intelligence on customers, campaigns and clients. In addition, he is refining the process of minimizing abandonment and maximizing customer intelligence. Prior to his current position, Kapoor was the Director, Marketing Initiatives at UBM TechWeb. Earlier, Kapoor was the founder of Captivate Interactive; Vice President, Client Services at Intellectual Capital Services; Managing Director & Partner, Concourse Technologies; and Technology Specialist and Developer, Bond Technologies. Kapoor earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from KUK.
