Interop Las Vegas 2016 Keynote Speakers Give a Glimpse into the Future of Networking

IT Experts from the Sacramento Kings, AARP, Google, Cisco & More to Highlight What's in Store for the Industry

SAN FRANCISCO, March 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Interop Las Vegas today announces a range of renowned technology leaders joining the keynote lineup for its 30th anniversary event. They'll unveil pivotal trends to expect for enterprise IT.  Added to the program are three new speakers, as well as two panels, focused on how open-source is changing the IT equation and the CIO's role in customer experience. The keynotes touch on two main themes – technical innovation and leadership. Each keynote speaker will offer insight into where the industry is headed, pulling from their vast experiences and current projects to drive innovation and change. Interop Las Vegas celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2016, presenting a reimagined conference and expo that celebrates the network, the technologies that feed off of it, and the IT professionals behind it all.

The Interop conference program, spanning five days, will dive into 10 key growth areas within the IT industry, with a common focus on networking and the technologies dependent upon it. Matt Eclavea, Vice President of Technology, Sacramento Kings - NEW
As Vice President of Technology for the Sacramento Kings, Matt is responsible for all technology operations at Sleep Train Arena. He currently heads the technology selection, development and implementation at Golden 1 Center – the world-class sports and entertainment venue opening in downtown Sacramento in October. The venue incorporates the latest environmental and technological innovations.

Amy Doherty, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, AARP - NEW
In her role as CIO, Amy will help shape AARP's future by enabling new technology solutions and services that help its members and people 50+ live their best lives. Her work helps to drive the transformation of the IT organization  from a "cost center" to a "value center," running IT like a business, strengthening AARP's Information Security infrastructure,  and improve IT's ability to execute, and boost stability, efficiency, and resiliency throughout the organization.

Now, hear his keynote addressing the state of technical innovation and the networking industry, in particular changes driven by macro shifts in security and cloud.
