The results of the recently released IntelliQuest CIMS Spring 2006 Business Study show that Network Computing leads its competitors in reaching top-level business technology decision-makers, making it the leading publication that helps corporate leaders bring their organizations business strategies to reality through technology.

According to the study, NWC, the publication at the helm of the Network Computing Group that includes e-newsletters, analysis, industry reports and other online properties, reaches 318,759 of the most influential technology buyers in the study - IS/Networking/CIO/VP IS.(1) This is 30 percent more than traditional purely networking-focused publications like Network World (245,199), and almost triple that of Baseline (81,873). NWC also reaches more of this powerful target(1) who plan to spend $1 million or more on IT products or services in the next 12 months when compared to Network World and Baseline.

Since the 2005 study, Network Computing's reach to management readers(2) grew by 13 percent. This compares to decreases for competitive publications, where Baseline dropped 19 percent in reach to management-level readers, and Network World lost 2 percent.

"The NWC portfolio of powerful resources -- conceived, written and presented by IT professionals for IT professionals -- has created depth and unprecedented loyalty among our audience of management and technology leaders, where nearly two-thirds say they read the publication regularly,"(3) said John Seifert, publisher, Network Computing Group. "The study verifies for us that our content is relevant and important to our loyal base."

Continuing the NWC innovation, Siefert said, it will launch a new online forum titled "Tech Battleground" in July that will bring together industry analysts, vendors, enterprise IT professionals and real world IT analyst editorial team to analyze and debate major architectural issues for the enterprise-the first will focus on the emerging Network Access Control market.
