TechWeb's Internet Evolution Taps Terry Sweeney as Editor in Chief

TechWeb, the global leader in business technology media, today announced that Terry Sweeney will rejoin the company as the Editor in Chief of Internet Evolution (http://www.internetevolution.com/), a Web 2.0 site dedicated to investigating the future of the Internet. In this newly-created position, Sweeney will be responsible for the management of Internet Evolution's broadband video documentaries and interviews; investigative reports, ThinkerNet blogosphere and user-generated content. He will report to Joseph Braue, TechWeb Senior Vice President and Group Director of Light Reading.

Prior, he was editor-in-chief of Byte & Switch (http://www.byteandswitch.com/), storage networking's most widely read website as well as the founding editor of the IT security website, Dark Reading (http://www.darkreading,com/) and Storage Pipeline. Earlier, Sweeney was news editor at InternetWeek and served as editor-in-chief of the print, online and video content for the ITU's Telecom 99 conference in Geneva,.
