Enterprise 2.0 Conference announces Children's Hospital Boston as the official nonprofit beneficiary for this year's conference, happening June 14-17 at the Westin Boston Waterfront. One day prior to the kick-off of Enterprise 2.0 Conference, UBM TechWeb, Enterprise 2.0 Conference and its parent company United Business Media, will be first-time supporters and participants in the annual NSTAR's Walk for Children's Hospital Boston, happening Sunday, June 13 in Boston. In a spirit of community support within Boston, Enterprise 2.0 attendees and community members are invited to join the Enterprise 2.0 team in a fundraising effort to support Children's Hospital Boston. Funds raised will benefit the hospital's pediatric research, patient care and community health programs. Those interested in supporting NSTAR's Walk for Children's Hospital Boston in conjunction with Enterprise 2.0 Conference, can participate in the following ways:

  --  Walk:  Any Enterprise 2.0 Conference attendee who signs up and
      participates in NSTAR's Walk on Sunday, June 13 will be honored with a
      donation made on walk participant's behalf at Enterprise 2.0
      Conference registration, with proof of participation.
  --  Donate to or Join the E2.0 Team:  Enterprise 2.0 Conference will have
      a team participating in the 7-mile walk. Donations are being accepted
      on the team page if you would like to support Children's Hospital
      Boston and the Enterprise 2.0 team.  UBM TechWeb will match up to 25%
      of all donations made to the event team as an added benefit to the
      hospital.  Or, participants can join the E2.0 team on the walk and
      designate themselves a part of Team Enterprise 2.0 during online or
      onsite registration.
  --  Conference & Keynote Evaluations:  After attending any workshop,
      conference session or keynote program, complete the on-line survey and
      a donation will be made to the Children's Hospital Boston.
  --  In-kind donations:  If you are attending Enterprise 2.0 Boston,
      in-kind donations are being accepted in a donation bin.  All items
      will be delivered to the Children's Hospital at the close of the

Registration for NSTAR's Walk for Children's Hospital Boston is $20 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Walkers can register for the 2- and 7-mile walks online or day of at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Charles River starting at 9:00 am on June 13. Walkers have raised $6.2 million for the hospital since its launch in 2003, and this year's goal is to raise $1.6 million.
