Also keynoting at VoiceCon Amsterdam are: Joe Burton, Vice President and CTO, Unified Communications, Cisco; David Farrell, Vice President, IBM Software Europe; Jean-Marc Voelckel, CIO, Ingencio; Eric Swift, Senior Director, Microsoft; Johan Krebbers, Group IT Architect, Royal Dutch Shell; Gerhard Otterbach, Member of the Board, Siemens Enterprise Communications. VoiceCon also announced that Microsoft has selected VoiceCon Amsterdam as the venue for releasing details of its new Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2. According to Microsoft, the new OCS Release 2 will validate its software-based approach to Unified Communications.

"It is very gratifying to have the leadership in European enterprise communications converge at VoiceCon Amsterdam to announce major new initiatives," said Fred Knight, VoiceCon General Manager. "In addition to Microsoft unveiling OCS Release 2, KPN will be demonstrating its new product and service strategy and other announcements are still in the works. At this critical time in the migration to a new framework for enterprise communications, VoiceCon Amsterdam will give the industry a good indication of how far we've come -- and what's coming next."

VoiceCon Amsterdam is designed to help enterprise executives address two fundamental questions: How to select and build the IP Telephony and enterprise communications platform that is right for their enterprise; and how to leverage that platform for Unified Communications and other emerging applications. In addition to the keynote presentations, VoiceCon will present a complete line-up of tutorials and conference sessions.

VoiceCon Amsterdam is both a conference and an exhibition, with many of the market leaders in European enterprise communications participating in the Demo Pavilion. The VoiceCon Amsterdam Diamond Sponsors include KPN, Siemens, Psytechnics and IBM. The Platinum, Silver and Gold Sponsors include Microsoft, Mitel, Prognosis, Eaton, LG Nortel, Motorola, NEC-Phillips, NetIQ, Polycom and Qunitum.
