O'Reilly Media, Inc. and CMP Technology, co-producers of the annual Web 2.0 Conference, today jointly announced that the exclusive event has sold out for the second straight year. However, to address the growing demands of businesses and startups to leverage Web 2.0 technologies, O'Reilly Media and CMP Technology recently launched Web 2.0 Expo, which is designed to be the major annual gathering of the technical, design, marketing, and business professionals who are building the next generation web. Web 2.0 Expo will take place April 15-18, 2007 at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco.
Web 2.0 Expo is a companion event to the Web 2.0 Conference, which will have its third annual iteration this November 7 - 9 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
