TechWeb's InformationWeek and Interop Announce Finalists for Best of Interop Las Vegas 2008
Leading Technology Brands Team Up to Recognize the Latest Advancements in Technology

InformationWeek, the leading multimedia business technology brand, and Interop, the leading global business technology event series, announced the finalists for Best of Interop Las Vegas 2008. Interop Las Vegas 2008 will be held April 27-May 2, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Best of Interop recognizes some of the world's most innovative technologies across eight major categories. Nearly 200 companies submitted products for consideration by the judges. Entering companies completed an online submission form that covered everything from general information about the product to how the product advances the state of business computing. The panel of judges was made up of award-winning editors from InformationWeek, who selected the products they believe have the greatest potential to impact and advance business technology efficiencies. The awards ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.

In addition to the eight category winners, there will be three special awards: Grand Prize Winner, Best StartUp, and the Green Award. The Green Award is a new award for Best of Interop and recognizes eco-friendly products. For the Best StartUp category, the vendor must have existed as an independent company for two years or less.
