Three Out of Four Interop Attendees Made Purchases Following 2008 Event

Interop® today announced three out of four business technology buyers that attended Interop Las Vegas 2008 made purchases within six months of attending, according to a recent survey. The Interop Buyer's Survey goes on to reveal that even more buyers plan to make purchases in 2009, confirming Interop as the choice venue for active buyers to make purchasing decisions.   --  Over 75% of Interop's audience purchased IT products and services in
      the 6 months after Interop Las Vegas 2008 (event dates were April
      29-May 1)
  --  The average amount spent after attending Interop Las Vegas 2008
      increased from the year prior; Average amount spent following Interop
      Las Vegas 2008 was $671,487, up from $628,296 in the 6 months
      following Interop Las Vegas 2007
  --  94% of Interop attendees play a role in purchasing IT products and
      services
  --  83% of those surveyed expect to make purchases in 2009
